The southern side of Fuerteventura is dominated by the Jandia Natural Park, an impressive blend of distinct landscapes, notable the Cofete Arch (Arco de Cofete). The large variety of its open spaces and their ecological influence has resulted in its being declared a national park by the Canary Government.

The more than 2,600 hectares have made the Municipality of Pajara the perfect meeting place for man and nature. A heady mix of colours, odours, sensations and the satisfaction that only being in touch with nature can provoke.
