This is one of the most compete museums for those wishing to deepen their knowledge of the island's history from ethnography to palaeontology and archaeology. The different thematic salons contain exhibits of maps and illustrations of the island's conquest during the 15th century, human remains of the Mahos (aboriginals) as well as a re-creation of the magic-religious world that they worshipped, and much more.
