Spots in Gran Canaria

The Island of Gran Canaria with year-round sun, mild temperatures and beautiful beaches, has a wide variety of landscapes for sight-seeing. It is 'a miniature continent', given the variety of climates and landscapes that are determined by the altitude, terrain, and orientation of its slopes. On its coasts there are 21 spots suitable for the practise of all classes of windsurfing, with the support of prestigious schools and services that save one from having to make unwanted journeys. Among these spots are Pozo Izquierdo and Vargas, both of which are internationally famous.

The respect the Canarian has for his ecosystem has always been primordial, as much on land as in the sea. In fact, the majority of National Parks in Spain are to be found in the Canaries. On our coasts, year after year, countless blue flags wave, certified by the EC. The Canary Islands, a privileged place in the world, declared part of the Heritage of Humanity and Biosphere Reserve, is conscious that the resources of the earth are limited. It is a pleasure to share this philosophy with all the sport fishermen who come to visit us.
